BetterSportsBox.com, NHL® 2019-20 Edition!
BetterSportsBox is a labor of love, born from a passion for the sport, originally starting as a new way to visualize boxscores from my kids's hockey games. I knew traditional grid-based boxscores didn't convey much of the story, and thought there has to be a better way! What about a visual, graphical representation of the game? Positioning of different things could be relative to the time of the event, color-coding could privide additional information... hmmm.
Thus this project was born. A visual boxscore, a better boxscore! First as a custom Chrome® extension for my kid's boxscore pages, and eventaully as an Android app.
Now, with tremendous support and encouragement from friends and other hockey fans, I've decided to tailor this vision to the professional ranks and share it with you, the fans!
Every effort has been made to release a quality product, but it's impossible to test on all combinations of devices and in some situations it might still be a little rough around the edges. If you have any issues or problems with this site, please let me know!
